At first I thought there wasn't really a way to fix this. I mean, parents are always going to take a million photos of their toddlers on their phones.
Phone cameras are incredible + toddlers are adorable... but they're also super speedy and hard to photograph well.
Then I realized that my 20 years of being an award-winning baby and family photographer meant I could help parents with this.
I could be the one to identify just a few photos for every age and stage of childhood, and teach parents how to take just those photos.
As a parent, once I knew I'd gotten THE THREE PHOTOS I NEED TO GET THIS SUMMER, I would feel so much more comfortable putting my phone away and being with my child.

Because I know toddlers, I realize that their skills and abilities really change from 12 months old to nearly three years old, so I needed to teach three different programs just to cover what I consider the ICONIC moments of these two years of life.

Having three options means you'll be capturing images this summer that really perfectly represent your toddler, whether they've just turned one, or if they're closer to one and a half or nearly two, or if they've already turned two or are nearly three..

We're often rushing when we're choosing which photo to edit, print and frame. In this course I teach my POW Choices Method so you know exactly what to look for and can make an informed decision when you're picking your iconic photos.

It only took me 20 years and 120,000 edited images delivered to my clients to develop my official cropping and editing methods... but now that my IP Lawyer says they're green-lighted to publish, I'm excited. I know they'll inform the way you edit your photos for years to come.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is this better than all the free DIY phone photo tutorials I can find online?
Because when you enroll with me, you've got me in your corner. This is different than a phone photography tutorial - it's truly a summer challenge for you AND your toddler to do together... and there's nothing else like it out there. I'm not just teaching you to take great photos with your phone, I've got strategies and systems built into the course that will make your life easier. I keep saying it, and it's true. I got chu.
My phone's old, though - do I need to buy a new one to make this worthwhile?
Oh, no, not at all. The cameras on the phones we carry in our pockets every day have been incredible for years! An older phone will totally do the job. Sometimes storage on an older phone can be tight, but if you follow along with the guidance you'll get in the free Storing & Backing Up Your Family Photos PDF about using your phone as a tool, not a storage device, you should be absolutely fine to use a not-so-new phone for this course.
I have an Android, will this course work if I don't have an iPhone?
Absolutely. I'm an iPhone gal, so my tutorials happen on the screen of my iPhone when we're doing on-the-phone trainings, but nothing I'm teaching is iPhone-specific. Android phones have the same cropping and editing capabilities that we learn in the course as it's written, so it shouldn't be a problem to do the course with your Android phone. In fact, let me know how it goes, I'm interested to hear about your experience!
My child's age is on the line, should I buy the class that's a little too old, or should I get the one that's a little too young?
So I'd say think about your child's physical skills and abilities in the context of other toddlers you know. Were they an early walker? Maybe try the version of the course that's for a slightly older child. Were they a preemie so their gestational age is adjusted? Maybe try the course for a slightly younger child. If you try a course and you realize it's not going to work for you, just let me know. Don't worry, I'll fix it and get you into the one that's right for you and your child.
